About the Inn

The farm has a long history dating back to the original acquisition deeded as a land grant in 1794. The original farm house built around 1821 has undergone several major renovations and additions. The house now contains 4 guest bedrooms with bathrooms, a game room, 4 screened in decks and a wrap around porch. Also, there are 3 wood burning stoves and a large country kitchen. All bedrooms have a queen size bed and a private bathroom. The central gathering room is highlighted by a 15 foot cathedral ceiling and a 6×8 picture window that overlooks the two farm ponds.

There  are plenty of trails for nature walks, running, hiking and even biking. For those of you interested in nature there is plenty to see. Guest enjoy their sightings of  white-tailed deer, wild turkey, fox, and even coyote. Red-tailed hawks, pileated woodpeckers and a number of bluebirds.

In addition to having guest bedrooms with private baths we also have an efficiency apartment within our Inn for guests who prefer this option. It has its own private entrance, a small kitchenette, a sitting area, queen size bed, a pellet wood stove and private patio area. We offer discounted rates for long term guests. We have all types of parking including, boats, campers, RV’s, trucks – even tractor trailers and heavy equipment.

We welcome Heath Care Workers; traveling nurses, physical, occupational, speech therapists, interns & others with special discounted long term rates!

At Heather Hill we have a separate building which is ideal for weddings, receptions, showers, educational/training meetings, and business meetings. We have space available for unlimited size outdoor weddings and receptions.

Accessibility

Heather Hill Inn is housed in an historic 1800s farm house and, as such, lacks many of the ADA accommodations of a modern hotel. For this reason, travelers requiring elevators or accessible bathrooms may not be able to stay at the Inn. Please get in touch with specific questions, though, as we will do our best to be welcoming to those we can.
